A world-class consortium for accelerator R&D

The EPITA project is a consortium of world-class excellence and multidisciplinarity, comprising 42 beneficiaries from 15 countries and international organisations, with a total budget of €21+ million, funded by a €10 million EU contribution and €11 million in matching funds.

EPITA aims at integrating a series of technological R&D initiatives into a coordinated and vision-driven programme, aligned with the established roadmap implementation of accelerator research infrastructures.

EPITA’s activities have been carefully selected in consultation with user communities, with priority given to areas not covered by existing projects and where added value can be achieved through transnational and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
